Erin talks in a few languages and being Malaysia we speak rojak. This our funny conversation today.

Mom : Girl.. we will meet daddy later yah.
Erin : No dun want.
Puzzled Mom : Why ??
Kind Erin : Later Daddy 'liu shea' (bleeding) and pain pain leh.
Mom : ?????

At first I am really puzzled why ever sticky Erin don't want to 'MEET' daddy. 'Meet' sounds like 'Pinch' in Cantonese. Of course she would not want to 'Meet' Daddy.

Sticky Rice Dumplings

I totally lost count of how many ( I think its close to 200pcs) we made today and my index finger is aching as i need to pull up those strings to tie it firmly. Started about 9am and it took us 6 hours to finish. My mother in law is in charge in preparing the ingredients and I am in charge of packing it.

Mom has some many special request, some wanted salted egg yolk without bean, some wanted meat with beans only, some wanted mushroom with oyster, salted egg yolk with bean and some just want lots of meat only.

We had a good laugh discovering that the some colour string tied at the top of different bunch were missing and she could not really remember what's in those different colour.

So everyone will get Fortune dumplings this year. Open up to discover what's pack inside :)

Looks like the Red carpet continues.... we were having Bond Night as the theme. Lots of grand prizes and lots of people were eyeing on the Cash money. The sad part is I came back with only a Rice Cooker.

But....at least its not a 2 night stay at Hotel Malaya. That's the last thing in my list.

Primary Gang

Went down with Melacca for shopping and food trip with Jenny, Quah and Shook Har during the Christmas break. Yes, its ladies only... and WK is at home with the kids.

Its a good break, we had lots of cendul nyoya and portugis food with shopping at the Jonker street area and of course updates of happening from when we last met.

'Magic' Toss ??

Yes! We had the 'Toss of Prosperity' keeping our fingers crossed that we will indeed be 'prosperous' and be in His good hand :)

Dear's treat for the anniversary :-) Mamma Mia!!!

We wanted to watch this back in English soil but it was too expensive in £. When we saw the London West-End coming to perform in KL, we immediately booked the tickets for our anniversary treat :-)

WK know about ABBA from his parents during his childhood and he still can sing those songs. He just ripped the ABBA album borrowed from his dad's treasure collections.

I like the song ' I have a dream' and WK likes 'Our last summer, Dancing Queens, Thank you for the music, Waterloo'

We enjoy the musical truly !!!!

10th year

Since, I am digging some old photos I thought I might do a before and after us. Yes, that's us before and after marriage.

Reunion - College mates

These 2 photos have 13 years gap. We agrees to have at least one re union trip every year after college. I think we only make it the first two years. Well, we still try to meet at least once a year just for a simple lunch or dinner. This round it was just before Christmas for lunch. We just could not stopped, so much to share, so much laughter at the table that finally our bills was brought to us without us asking for it.

Looking forward to meet up again.

Childlike

Eden's in Daddy's clothes and accessories, all ready for his role as a wise man in the Nativity Play. Its my prayer that he grow to be a wise man of God.

5th year

We celebrated it on Christmas this round and had him blow the cake very early on his birthday as I was leaving for a trip to Melacca with 3 primary friends.

Erin was so excited and sang the birthday song (her revised version of course) together with us.
