Fantastic 4

He has been talking about this special day since Adam's Birthday back in October. He told me that he wanted a chocolate banana cake and all of us will sing Birthday song to him and he will blow the candle and would light it again and again for Adam to blow then.

So finally the Big day is here. He checked the cake and approved, we sang song to him countless time and that means they blow candle countless time also. Even Adam has been extra nice to him today.

He whispered to me during dinner "Faster say Happy Birthday to me lah" No exception to Adam and Daddy and even Erin. Mama have to say it on Erin's behalf then :)

Yes! It has been four fantastic years and I hope today and the days to come is and will be super fantastic for him.

New Gadget

This really show how parents can have such strong influence on little one. Or shall I say like father like son. I wonder when little Eden will want a real apple.

Daddy you better watch out !!

What is Christmas to you ?

Adam was telling us some of the meaning of Christmas ornament that he had learn in Sunday School yesterday and that draws me to this:

The Star: A heavenly signs of prophecy fulfilled long, long ago- The shining hope of mankind.

The Color Red: The first color of Christmas, symbolizing that Savior’s sacrifice for all.

The Fir Tree: Evergreen- the second color of Christmas shows everlasting light and life. The needles point up to heaven.

The Bell: Rings out to guide lost sheep back to the fold, signifying that all are precious in His eyes.

The Candle: A mirror of starlight, reflecting our thanks for the star of Bethlehem.

The Gift Bow: Tied as we should all be tied together in bonds of goodwill forever.

The Candy Cane: Represents the shape of the shepherd's crook, used to bring lost lambs back to the fold.

The Wreath: A symbol of the never ending eternal value of love…having no end.

Winter Festival

This year we make some glutinous rice ball with brown sugar filling and I've gotten some with red bean and black sesame from supermarket. The boys seems to enjoy making than eating it.

Adam says he will eat 10 this year as Grandma says he needs to add 2 to his age to get his 'Chinese Age' So jokingly I told him we must make more as Grandma would need 59 rice balls then

I have been not well for almost two weeks now. Dear think we should all go out for some fresh air. Nothing fancy, just some sandwich, juice and fruits and the kids get to run around enjoying nature and of course the playground.

Looks like everyone is happy :)

Especially this little girl. Sitting quietly on our lap enjoying creation.

Hand Make Ornaments

Just saw Sigrun's post on handmade ginger man. Dear would really be delighted if I can bake like her :)

We bought a Christmas tree last year at 90% discount.(I think it was just 2 days before Christmas) Dear always think that its not essential to have it at home but I managed to lure him get hold of the GREAT FANTASTIC Savings.

Sigh.... I have the tree but no ornaments this year and there isn't any great discount for it either. Somehow all those nice and decent looking ornaments that we saw at the mall are very expensive. And getting a few only is not enough to fill the whole tree. Its like having a top without a skirt.. man.

So I ended up getting the boys to help in these handmade ornaments for our Christmas tree this year.
Maybe I should ask dear to 'pay for my thought' ya.. :)
